Watch: Nick Young's Plans for His Engagement Ring for Iggy Are Fraudulently Funny

When being post-break-up petty and scamming collide.

Nick Young seemed to be all in his feelings last week after being dumped by Iggy Azalea, doing everything from using a scene from Martin Lawrence's A Thin Line Between Love and Hate to drag her over witnessing his 1962 Chevy Impala being towed to getting emo to Drake's "Redemption." Get a grip, bruh.

But that was last week. This week, the Los Angeles Lakers forward seems to be all smiles and laughs.

When TMZ stopped Young and Lakers' teammate Jordan Clarkson in L.A. last night and asked him what he did with the engagement ring that he got back from Iggy, Swaggy P laughed and replied: "I lost it... I need some insurance money."

Wow. Remember, the 10.43-carat ring is valued at a reported $500,000.

Check out the petty/scamming-alert moment below.

Nick was clearly joking, but we can't help but wonder if Iggy and insurance companies are laughing along with him. Probably not.

Since he's in better spirits, though, we also wonder if Nick would be willing to forgive teammate D'Angelo Russell. After all, D'Angelo recorded Nick's cheating admission in March and the footage might have paved the way for his breakfup with Iggy.

Russell has seemingly gotten over the situation, apologizing back when it blew up and starring in a humorous Foot Locker ad recently, poking fun at it. It will be interesting to see if Swaggy P is willing to do the same in regards to Russell. Hmm...
