Painful to Watch: The French Gymnast's Gruesome Broken Leg That Everyone's Talking About

NBA All-Star Paul George can relate.

Those who are faint of heart or suffer from weak stomachs, look away.

French gymnast Samir Ait Said suffered a gruesome broken leg when competing in the vault in the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday.

You can immediately see the 26-year-old's left leg buckle upon the bad landing.

If you're squeamish, we apologize in advance for what you're about to see.

Ahhh!

And the aftermath via photos were equally painful to see.

Spectators — in attendance in Rio and watching on TV — were left horrified over what they just witnessed.

Damn shame.

Incredibly, Ait Said also fractured his leg in three places right before the 2012 Games, as reported by The Independent.

The injury Saturday drew memories of Paul George's own freakish leg fracture two years ago.

In fact, the Indiana Pacers' All-Star forward, and current Team USA member, is trying to meet with Samir, as reported by USA Today.

Like PG, Samir has plenty of determination and fight to him, already vowing to be back for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, according to CNN.
