Look: Did Simone Biles Make It Four Gold Medals in These Olympic Games?

Here's what happened in the balance beam final Monday in Rio.

Update: Hey, you can't win 'em all, right?

After winning three gold medals during these Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro thus far, Simone Biles failed to win her fourth Monday. But she did hang on to clinch a bronze medal in the women's balance beam final, posting a score of 14.733.

Her USA Final Five teammate Laurie Hernandez secured the silver medal with a score of 15.333, both coming up short against the NetherlandsSanne Wevers's gold medal-winning 15.466.

Biles's balance beam routine started off strong, but having to touch the beam after her punch front might have cost her.

Still, the gymnastics' dynamo led the event with five more competitors to go.

Hernandez came up big with her 15.333, but both she and Biles couldn't unseat the dominating performance from Wevers.

But Biles couldn't be any happier for her teammate and friend, telling Hernandez how proud she is of her and also posting this heartfelt tweet before Monday's event.

Despite the disappointing finish Monday, Biles can wrap up her incredibly successful Olympic Games with a gold medal in the floor exercise Tuesday in Rio.

Whatever transpires then, Simone has already made history, becoming the first American woman to win three gold medals in a single Olympics game.

Previously: As these Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro continue, Simone Biles just keeps making history.

After leading USA's Final Five squad to a gold medal in the team final and hauling in another gold medal for placing first in the individual all-around final last week, Biles started this week with another gold-medal finish in the vault final Sunday.

Biles scored an average of 15.966 Sunday to become the first U.S. gymnast to win the women's vault final in the Olympic Games.

She also became the first American woman to win three gold medals in one Olympic Games.

And Simone could add to her history-making Olympic feats Monday and Tuesday with gold medals in the balance beam and floor exercise finals, respectively.

#BlackGirlMagic and greatness on another level.

At 19, the 4-foot-9 dynamo has already put the argument about her being the greatest women's gymnast of all time to bed.

We're clearly witnessing someone special here.
