Will Claye got the silver, but he made sure his girlfriend got a diamond fit for a Queen.
Fresh off of winning the silver medal in the men's triple jump final at the Rio Olympics on Tuesday, Claye jumped into the stands, dropped down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend, Queen Harrison, with a rock of a diamond ring.
And Harrison, a former Olympian herself, said yes!
Check out the amazing moment.
Claye, 25, woke up Tuesday morning just knowing that he was going to propose to Harrison, 27.
As for his message while proposing?
"I told her she was my best friend. I told her she was my rib. I told her I want to grow old with her," Claye said, as reported by Daily Mail Online. "I want her to be by my side for the rest of my life. She's helped me to grow into the man I am today."
Aww. Sweet words.
An unexpected Olympic highlight, to say the least.
Congrats to the newly engaged couple.
