While making history during the Rio Olympics, Simone Biles carved out some time to exchange sweet tweets with Kim Kardashian about North West's possible projections as a superstar gymnast someday.

Well, Simone had a chance to take those tweets one step further Sunday night when the four-time Olympic gold medalist gymnast met Kim K at the MTV Video Music Awards.

And 19-year-old Biles used the meeting as an opportunity to land the selfie that she had been coveting for so long.

Check out this shot of Simone and her Final Five teammates — with the exception of Gabrielle Douglas, who was hospitalized after an allergic reaction — and Kardashian.

Of course, Kim made sure to have her Snapchat covered with a selfie of her own.

Simone proudly gushed about meeting Kim K afterward on Twitter.

Between meeting Kardashian and presenting an award to Beyoncé, Simone and the Final Five had themselves a fun VMAs.
