The rumored reports of his alleged cheating — and the social media slander that came with it — have gotten to Iman Shumpert.
On Friday afternoon, the Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard took to his Instagram account to plead with internet trolls to back off his lady, Teyana Taylor, and instead direct all shade to him directly.
Check out Shump's heartfelt message.
Wow. That's deep.
Shumpert's plea to Internet haters came after he seemed carefree doing yoga on South Beach with Cavs teammate Kyrie Irving on Friday morning. Before that, Shump posted IG shots of him playing basketball with the hashtag "#tunnelvision."
His request for haters to back off Teyana followed Thursday's shocking report from a website called Fameolous, which ran a rumor about Shump allegedly cheating on Teyana with a woman for two years.
That report, which stemmed from a DM tip to the site, including the alleged side chick spilling tea on the last numbers of Iman and Teyana's home alarm and also claiming that the Cavs guard's trainer is the one who helps him cheat.
The woman also included an alleged Facetime screenshot between Shump and herself.
Despite that report, Teyana stuck by her man Thursday, posting her own IG shot of she and Shump embracing and her clapping back with some short but powerful words to their critics.
But Shump's plea to social media savages out there came Friday morning, perhaps spelling that the slander aimed at Teyana had gotten out of hand.
Think this will just be a bump in the road for the couple and new parents?
