Look: This Is How Muhammad Ali's Hometown Louisville Cardinals Are Honoring The Late Legend

Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee.

Muhammad Ali always wore his love for Louisville, Kentucky, sports on his sleeve.

Now, just over three months since the boxer and global sports icon died, Louisville has announced another special way to honor its hometown legend.

For their huge home game against No. 2 Florida State on Saturday, the 10th-ranked Louisville Cardinals football team will wear chrome red helmets with an Ali butterfly sticker on the back.

Of course, the decal pays homage to Ali's famous "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee" saying.

Take a look.

And here's the front of the helmet.

In addition to the stickers on the helmets, Ali's wife, Lonnie, and son, Asaad, will participate in the on-field tribute for "The Greatest" at Cardinal Stadium tomorrow, as reported by a press release from the school.

Fans in the student section of the stadium will also be rocking shirts that read "The Champ."
