Carmelo Anthony Approves of This Rapper's 'Apartment Music'

NBA superstar especially likes "Ultra Light Beam."

This isn't a God dream. But it's everything.

Carmelo Anthony is feeling Kanye West's new album, The Life of Pablo. A lot.

The New York Knicks' All-Star small forward made that much clear, taking time out of his required media session Saturday night to give reporters an impromptu review of the new LP.

"I like it. It's different," Melo offered, as reported by the Wall Street Journal. "It's apartment music."

Nice, fitting description — one that Yeezy has used to describe his own music in the past.

In fact, reporters might have killed Melo's vibe, when he was zoning out to Kanye's new record.

That's because, the Journal reports that Anthony was enjoying "Ultra Light Beam," when he stopped the track, so media could conduct their interviews with him.

Hey, Melo could have handled this differently, opting to stick the "Wolves" on the media instead or educate them about "Real Friends" or even "Feedback" or what it's like to be "Famous."

Instead, he just hit them with some "Highlights," dumping 30 points and snatching 11 rebounds in the Knicks' much-needed win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Album review and stuffing the box score... all in a night's work for Melo.
