Usually it's the veterans hazing rookies in sports.
Houston Rockets rookie Sam Dekker didn't get that memo, making Dwight Howard the butt of plenty of jokes lately.
The Rockets small forward took to his Twitter account Monday to reveal to his nearly 150,000 followers that he was able to get into Howard's iPad, posting proof as seen by this posed shot of the Rockets center.
Ha! Now, that's funny.
Dekker kept the running joke going on his Vine account, where he again alluded to Howard's senior class-like portraits.
Hey, Dwight seems to be taking the jokes in full stride, even taking Dekker under his wing, as a veteran should. But watch out rook... these type of antics usually come around to bite you.
Over the course of an 82-game season, though, jokes have to be made and things have to be kept loose at times.
What's not a laughing matter is if the playoffs were to start today, the Rockets would barely make the cut as the eighth and final seed in the Western Conference.
So, maybe Howard and Dekker could help change that because a first-round playoff match up with the defending champion Golden State Warriors isn't an envious position to say the least.
Put it this way... if the Rockets meet the Warriors in the first round, Dekker will have an early jump on ribbing Howard this summer.
