Kawhi Leonard is keeping it all the way real out here, not letting the riches of the NBA change who he is as a person at all.

Despite signing a five-year, $94 million extension over the summer, including upwards of $16 million in his salary this season alone, the San Antonio Spurs' All-Star small forward still drives his 1997 Chevy Tahoe.

"It runs, and it's paid off," Leonard, the 2014 NBA Finals MVP, told Sports Illustrated, as part of a recent feature story about the quiet, no-nonsense star.

Well, of course it's paid off. You're rich!

Part of the feature reported that his sponsor Wingstop sends him coupons, so he could get his fill of Mango Habanero wings, adding that he freaked out when losing the coupons once... even though it was after he inked that $94 million extension.
