LaVar Ball Says His Boys Will Carry the NBA One Day

"You gonna look at the Ball boys and be like, 'Oh my God, how he get all three of them in the league?'"

LaVar Ball is going to run his mouth all the way up until the 2017 NBA Draft tonight.

With his son Lonzo on the brink of being a projected top three Draft selection tonight, his outspoken dad had one more boast to make and he did so while walking down the street in New York City. That boast? That his three sons Lonzo, LiAngelo, and LaMelo will run and carry the NBA one day.

Oh,  word, Mr. Ball?

“After five years when everybody gone, you gonna look at the Ball boys and be like, ‘Oh my God, how he get all three of them in the league?’" Mr. Ball said, while being filmed on camera. "LeBron be on his way out, Steph Curry be on [his way out]. They’re getting old. Somebody gotta carry the NBA.”

That’s some confidence! Yes, in five years, LeBron and Steph will be older. But Lonzo has a lot to show and prove as a springboard for what the Ball brothers can do.

Do you think this latest guarantee is too far-fetched, or is LaVar just trying to speak something into existence in the same way he’s been doing by saying the Los Angeles Lakers will tab Lonzo with the second pick in tonight’s Draft?
