Black Athletes Who Give Back

Laila Ali, the daughter of boxing great Muhammad Ali, has stepped out of her father’s shadow not just due to her own athletic prowess, but for her giving spirit. The female boxer, who boasts a 24-0 record and 21 knockouts, serves as the president of the Women's Sports Foundation, an organization that encourages self-improvement in women and girls through sports and exercise.
