A Turn for the Worse

In a trade that he was unhappy with, Odom was acquired by the Dallas Mavericks in 2011. Still mourning his late cousin, Odom failed to perform well on the team. By April 2012, he and the Mavericks agreed to sever ties, and Odom was downgraded to the NBA Developmental League. He officially left the Mavericks two months later.
