Traded to the Lakers

Odom was traded to the Lakers in 2004, after his season with Miami. In his first year on the West Coast, he incurred a shoulder injury which forced him to miss the second half of the season, but that same year Odom helped the U.S. men’s basketball team take home the bronze medal at the 2004 Olympics in Athens.
