NFL Agrees to Settle Concussion Suit for $765 Million

The NFL settled a concussion lawsuit in August brought on by 4,500 retired players, who all suffer from advanced dementia and other health problems, for $765 million. The settlement will include $75 million for players or the families of players who have suffered cognitive injury. About $75 million will be set aside for baseline medical exams, and a $10 million research fund is also be established.
