Eric "Sleepy" Floyd

Eric Floyd’s childhood nickname, “Sleepy,” may have stayed with him throughout his career, but you can’t sleep on his accomplishments. Floyd was drafted by the New Jersey Nets as the 13th pick of the 1982 NBA Draft, but was traded to the Golden State Warriors, where he averaged 17.7 points and 6.7 assists over 374 games. He retired in 1995 and still holds an NBA scoring record.
