DeSean Jackson Released By the Philadelphia Eagles - The long running saga of DeSean Jackson’s future in Philadelphia has finally reached a resolution. The Eagles released the All-Pro receiver on Friday, according to a statement posted on the team’s Twitter page. For the past two weeks Jackson had been at the center of trade rumors when word leaked that Philly was looking to move him. Jackson is now free to sign with any one of the teams that showed interest in him when he was on the trade market.
