DeSean Jackson Says Washington Redskins Embraced Him
After being cut from the Philadelphia Eagles last week for his alleged gang ties, DeSean Jackson was looking for a new home. He found it via a three-year, $24 million contract, including $16 guaranteed and a $5 million signing bonus, with the Washington Redskins on Wednesday, as reported by ESPN. Jackson credits Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III and cornerback DeAngelo Hall for reaching out to him. Jackson will now have a chance to stick it to his former Eagles team twice per season.
