NBA Legend Darryl Dawkins Dies at 58 - Chocolate Thunder Darryl Dawkins was an asbolute fan favorite over his 14 years (1975-1989) in the NBA, most notably for naming his thunderous dunks everything from the "Look Out Below" to the "Yo-Mama" and the "Rim Wrecker." His colorful game matching his personality was just part of the reason the basketball community took Thursday's news of his death so hard.
