Rivers Believes It's Sterling on Tape, Report Says Doc Won't Return With Clippers Under Sterling

When asked if he thought the man’s voice on the recently released audio recording laced with racially charged comments belonged to Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling, Clippers coach Doc Rivers told ESPN, "Yeah, I believe he said those things. As far as believing those things, I heard what he said. Until someone tells me differently, you usually listen to what people say. I haven't given him his due process. I haven't given him an opportunity to explain himself and quite honestly right now don't want him to, or don't want him to to me. I'll wait for that further judgment." According to a Yahoo Sports report, Rivers won't return as Clippers president nor coach under Sterling. Rivers's Clippers and the Golden State Warriors are tied 2-2 in their first-round playoff series.
