NBA Sets Sterling Hearing Date for June 3
NBA commissioner Adam Silver is certainly making good on his vow to “expeditiously” remove troubled Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling for making racist comments against African-Americans. On Monday, the NBA announced that they have set a Sterling hearing for June 3 in New York City, after which other team owners will vote to decide the future of the Clippers. If three-fourths of the owners vote against Sterling, he will be forced to sell the franchise, although he has made it clear he will fight any such sort of decision through a lawsuit.
