Vick Would Be "Honored" to Play with Favre - Last week Eagles star QB Michael Vick ignited a round of rumors when he tweeted, "I would be honored to have Brett Favre as a backup. That will be amazing learning how to toy with defenses the way he did his whole career." He later deleted the tweet, but not before reports spawned that the retired Favre (who has a history of flip-flopping when it comes to calling it quits for good) may actually be making yet another comeback with Philly. However, Favre's agent cleared up rumors in a call to The Clarion-Ledger Monday, stating, "Brett Favre retired in January. He has not talked to any teams, including Carolina Panthers, Philadelphia Eagles, the Arizona Cardinals and the Seattle Seahawks. He was not talked to anyone about playing football. He's retired, period."(Photo: Ronald Martinez/Getty Images)

Is Kobe Closer to Turkey Deal? - While it looked like a deal between Lakers star Kobe Bryant and Turkish basketball team Besiktas was dead due to Bryant's $1 million per month asking price, the star's representatives are reportedly reaching out to Besiktas again, writes ESPN. Besiktas (who signed Nets guard Deron Williams recently and former NBA star Allen Iverson last season) has said the only way Bryant could achieve his asking price is if a sponsor stepped in to cover a portion of his salary. That could very well be possible for a player with Bryant's global recognition and endorsement deals. Bryant would only be playing for the club for the duration of the NBA's lockout.(Photo: Harry How/Getty Images)
