Michael Jordan Could Lure Chris Paul to the Bobcats - During an interview Tuesday, Chris Paul, the New Orleans Hornets’ star guard, said that he might consider signing with the Michael Jordan-owned Charlotte Bobcats in 2012 because he still looks up to the basketball legend. "I think guys do and will want to play for MJ," Paul said during an interview with the Associated Press. "Who better to learn from?" Playing for Charlotte would also give Paul the opportunity to return to his home state of North Carolina. But for right now, Paul said he’s only concerned about the upcoming playoffs and trying to win a championship with his current team. (Photo: AP Photo/Nikki Boertman)

Lawrence Taylor Labeled a Low-level Sex Offender - Lawrence Taylor is now a Level I sex offender. The former football star’s name won’t appear on public sex offender registry lists as he was given a low-level ranking. The Rockland County judge decided Tuesday that Taylor wasn’t a big danger to society. Last month Taylor was sentenced to serve six years probation after he pleaded guilty to sexual misconduct for patronizing a prostitute and admitting to paying a 16-year-old for sex at a New York hotel last May. Carl Lewis to Run for N.J. Senate - Olympic legend Carl Lewis announced he’s running for a seat in New Jersey’s Senate on Monday. The nine-time gold medalist will be competing for a seat in the state’s 8th legislative district as a Democrat and will face Republican incumbent Sen. Dawn Addiego in elections later this year. "It's time to change the political discourse in New Jersey and around the country," he said. "The people are fed up with their elected officials playing the blame game and treating their political counterparts as enemies." Lewis grew up in New Jersey and bought a home in the state in 2005, which re-established his residency. (Photo: AP Photo/Julio Cortez)

Bonds’ Jury Deliberates - The jury in Barry Bonds’ perjury trial continued to deliberate the fate of the fallen baseball star Monday. In the morning, the jury listened to a re-reading of the testimony of Bonds’ personal shopper, Kathy Hoskins. Hoskins was the only one who testified to actually seeing Bonds injected with steroids by his personal trainer, Greg Anderson. Last week the defense rested its case without calling one witness.
