LaDainian Tomlinson Retires

After 11 successful seasons in the NFL, running back LaDainian Tomlinson announced his retirement on Monday, singing a one-day contract with the San Diego Chargers, the team he played with for nine season before moving to the New York Jets in 2010. But there were no hard feelings for the star running back: "It wasn't because I didn't want to play anymore. It was simply time to move on," he told the AP. (Photo: AP Photo/Denis Poroy)
