Jerry Sandusky Accusers to Use Real Names in Court
A judge denied several lawyers’ requests on Monday to allow the alleged sexual abuse victims of former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky to testify under pseudonyms. Instead, the court and lawyers will work closely to “cooperate when possible” to protect witness privacy and personal information. The accusers’ names have not been made public and are referred to by number in a grand jury report last November. Sandusky is accused of sexually abusing 10 boys over the span of 15 years, charges he has consistently denied.
