Terrell Owens Could Face Jail Time Over Back Child Support
An Atlanta judge could send Terrell Owens to jail on July 19 because the former NFL star is reportedly $20,000 behind in child support for his 7-year-old daughter. In a previous agreement, Owens agreed to pay the child's mother, Melanie Page Smith, $5,000 a month, but she alleged in a court filing that he had not made a payment in months. Adding to his trouble, Owens also skipped his child support hearing last Thursday, and the judge has threatened jail time if he's a no-show this week.
