Phelps vs. Lochte Showdown
The building rivalry between U.S. swimmers Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte climaxed on Saturday when Lochte pushed pass Phelps to earn gold in the men's 400 meter individual medley, with Brazil claiming silver and Japan finishing with bronze. In a twist that stunned many fans, Phelps placed fourth, the first time he finished outside the winner's podium since the 2000 Olympics in Sydney.
