Saints Bounty Suspensions Overturned
On Friday, an appeals panel overturned the suspensions of NFL players Jonathan Vilma, Scott Fujita and Will Smith that were handed down by NFL brass in May for their involvement in the New Orleans Saints' bounty program, which paid players bonuses for hits that injured opponents. The players are now eligible to play this season, but the ruling may only be temporary.
