NFL Players Kluwe and Ayanbadejo Support Gay Rights
After Baltimore Ravens linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo said he supported gay rights, local lawmaker Emmett Burns Jr. told the Ravens' owner he should muzzle the player and prevent him from exercising his First Amendment right of free speech. Minnesota Vikings punter Chris Kluwe heard about the ridiculousness and wrote a hilarious and poignant response to Emmett Burns Jr., asking him "Why do you hate the fact that other people want a chance to live their lives and be happy?"
