Jerry Rice Helps Fight Obesity
NFL great Jerry Rice announced on Monday that he is doing his part to help fight childhood obesity as a spokesman for the NFL and XBox 360's "60 Million Minutes Challenge" initiative, which educates parents and kids about the importance of getting 60 minutes of physical activity each day. Because games on the Kinect for Xbox 360 system use motion sensors to encourage physical movement, "It gets kids off the couch and gets their whole body in the game," Rice said.
