Brooklyn Nets' Joe Johnson Says He's No Thief
Brooklyn Nets guard Joe Johnson is countering a lawsuit by an Atlanta jeweler that he stole $125,000 in jewelry. Johnson said he accepted the jewelry to wear on loan but never agreed to purchase the items, adding that the jeweler refused to take them back when he tried to return them. A judge has yet to rule.
