Sports Rewind: Kobe to Take Over Twitter

Former NFL player Joey Porter is in the clear with the state of Nevada after he paid back a $70,000 gambling debt owed to the Hard Rock Casino. Last week, Porter, who last played linebacker for the Arizona Cardinals in 2011, was arrested in California on felony fraud and theft charges stemming from accusations that he wrote eight bogus checks in exchange for cash and/or gambling chips, including one check totaling $20,000, TMZ reports.
