Shawne Williams Facing Drug Possession Charges
Shawne Williams was arrested on Thursday after police found him in possession of two marijuana blunts and codeine cough syrup for which he did not have a prescription. Williams, a first-round NBA draft pick in 2006, played 26 games with the former New Jersey Nets last season. Police believe Williams was trying to sell the drugs.
