Track Coach Admits Affair With Student
The University of Texas announced on Saturday that track and field coach Beverly Kearney had resigned after admitting she had a "intimate consensual relationship” with a student athlete in 2002. A hall of famer, Kearney was the first African-American coach to win an NCAA national team championship in Division I track and field.
