Danica Patrick Becomes First Woman to Win Pole for Daytona 500

Nascar racer Danica Patrick made headlines Sunday when she achieved the biggest accomplishment of her career, securing the top spot in the Daytona 500 pole. She made history as the first woman to do so and will compete next week with the possibility of becoming the first woman to win Nascar’s premier event. "I was brought up to be the fastest driver, not the fastest girl," she said. (Photo: AP Photo/Terry Renna)
