If Talk Is Cheap, Then Silence Costs

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch was slammed with one of the NFL’s stiffest fines on Friday. The NFL charged Lynch $50,000 for not talking to the media the entire season, except on Friday in a brief news conference. The NFL was allegedly unaware that Lynch had not offered an interview to the media, which is required of all players in the league.
