Soft Diplomacy - During her tenure at the White House, First Lady Michelle Obama has become one of the nation's most-loved and respected diplomats. She has traveled to more than 20 countries but still has time to catch up to her predecessor, former First Lady Laura Bush, who in two terms visited more than 70 nations. On March 18, 2015, the first lady began a three-day visit to Japan to promote education for girls and then headed to Cambodia.
