Oh you thought just because the 2008 BET Awards was a wrap, we weren’t going to bring you some post awards goodies??? WRONG. T-Pain and Lil Wayne not only tore down this year’s awards, but I managed to snag what was supposed to be T-Pain’s first offering from his third solo project, Thr33 Rings, which is slated to drop September 30.

 Off the first listen, this ish was a keeper….NO LIE! It’s a nice lil intimate club/radio joint that seems innocent, but mischievous in a indirect kind of way. Regardless of how or what the song’s message is….the joint is TOUGH! Check it out below….

This year’s awards was probably one of the best, and like I said before, I didn’t get to watch the show, but I captured some great footage on video and on my little digital apparatus. Like you guys already know, my access was extremely limited, but I did my best to capture the goods. T-Pain’s security guard came close to pile driving me into the wall because I had the camera in his face too long and later on after the awards Ashanti’s mother was ready to punch me dead in my face for filming her baby too long lol! The 2008 BET Awards have finally concluded and even though I didn’t get a chance to see a majority of the show, I did get a chance to catch this magnificent performance by Chris Brown and Ciara. As we all know Kanye has made his mark in this industry for 2 reasons; one, his music is from another echelon and two, his acceptance speeches are something any avid award watcher can’t live without. I think GOD is keeping me in this trailer on purpose so I catch some of the most absurd moments at this year’s awards. Like always, I’m sitting at the comp updating the HOTTEST blog for this year’s BET Awards and I see Keyshia Cole performing. Though I’m not an avid listener of Ms. Cole, I do appreciate her talent. During her performance, Keyshia did something extraordinary; magnificent even. You know I don’t like giving up the goods, so check out what happens when she pulls the mic away from her mouth lol.

Pretty Ricky= Absurd Part 2!

Updating the blog every hour is probably one of the most tedious things I’ve ever had to do, but I can tell you it’s making for some very entertaining commentary. So, I’m sure all of you’ve heard of the group called “Hot Stylez” right? They have that absurd, but HILARIOUS song called “Lookin Boy” which is making WAVES(good and bad) through the hip hop community. They also added Mr. “It’s Going Down”, Yung Joc to the mix for an even more hilarious remix. Since I’m in the trailer typing my fingers to death, I figured you guys would ENJOY this picture from their pre-show performance on 106 & Park. Ha, the adventures of “Access Denied” have begun, make sure you keep it locked to see if the authorities of the 2008 BET Awards actually revoke my “All Access” credentials lol.

Running around this Shrine Auditorium is a serious workout and since I’ve been told NOT to cover certain areas of the the venue, my job is that more difficult than it originally was. But since this is the behind the scenes P.O.V. Blog, I’m going to disregard what I’ve been told and get the job done. As my first act of “Disregard”, I scurried up a hike of steps to take a flick of the monsoon of attendee’s that are piling in for the Awards.
