Black Twitter created a hashtag in response to a Supreme Court case brought by Abigail Fisher, a white woman who sued the University of Texas at Austin on claims that she was not accepted because of the existence of affirmative action.
The Supreme Court has begun deciding on the future of affirmative action in college admissions Wednesday. The justices met today and gave contrasting opinions on whether a policy that uses race to determine whether an applicant gets accepted should continue at the University of Texas at Austin.
