Get "Fly" With Red Cafe
How fly is Red Cafe? Too fly apparently! Brooklyn-bred rapper and current Bad Boy/Konvict Muzik/Interscope artist Red Café will stop by the 106 & Park studio today, Friday, October 14 to debut his new joint, “Fly Together,” featuring Rick Ross and Ryan Leslie.
The Somali-Guyanese MC has been called "Red" all his life, a nickname inherited from his father. Red began his career in a group called Da Franchise with Bed-Stuy artist Gravy and Flatbush rapper Q Da Kid. Due to disagreements between the three, they split up and went their separate ways. He has gone through the ups and downs of being an artist in a fluctuating music market. Fortunately, he kept busy by ghostwriting for many popular rappers. He recently released his newest street album Above the Cloudz earlier this year. Hopefully, his Bad Boy/Konvict labels will deliver him a proper official debut album.
Tune into 106 & Park today, Friday, October 14 at 6P/5C as Red Cafe drops his new joint, “Fly Together,” featuring Rick Ross and Ryan Leslie.
