Judd Apatow/RZA

Judd Apatow knew he had a talented group once he created the cult hit Freaks and Geeks. The Queens, NY native rounded up his funnymen of the Jewish faith and set to redefine the bromantic comedy — man hugs and all! He produced Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, directed/produced and wrote The 40-Year-Old Virgin and produced this year’s megahit Bridesmaids. Similarly to Apatow, RZA is responsible for gathering eight of the illest MCs New York has ever produced. With his meticulously produced Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), RZA instantly leaped into the production elite. He proceeded to craft and mold solo projects for the rest of the crew, including Method Man, GZA, Ghostface Killah and Raekwon. He’s broadened his reach by producing film soundtracks for Kill Bill and others. Bawses!
