Marvin and Nona Gaye

For many offspring of entertainment icons, the pressure to live up to the family name can be overbearing. In the case of Nona Gaye (whose father Marvin Gaye is widely regarded as the greatest R&B singer of all time) nothing could be further from the truth. In 1992 the singer showed her incipient talent to the world, releasing her first album, Love for the Future, at the age of 18. The 39-year-old has since appeared in several box office hits like Crash, The Matrix Reloaded and XXX: State of the Union.
