Brandy Album Retrospective

Catch Brandy tonight on 106 at 6P/5C!

Brandy as Moesha - Brandy's Moesha broke ground for TV teens in the '90s. For five seasons we watched as the title character had to juggle issues of a blended family, premarital sex, race relations and the death of a parent. Plus, on the style-front, Brandy helped to bring braids back as a glam hairstyle for a whole new generation. (Photo: UPN Network)

Hollywood Star - While her debut album, Brandy, was on track to selling 6 million units worldwide, Brandy took her acting bug to the small screen and snagged her own coming-of-age series, Moesha. The show lasted for six incredible seasons and has been in syndication since. (Photo: UPN)

Pushed Back?! - The dreaded PUSHBACK disease has hit yet another artist. Instead of Brandy’s highly-anticipated, comeback album, “Human,” arriving in stores on Nov. 11, the CD will be released on Dec. 9. There’s no word on why the LP is being delayed, but what we do know is that the album will be going up against releases from Ciara, Keri Hilson and 50 Cent.

Human - After working with Timbaland and Kanye on Afrodisiac, Brandy decided to go back to basics and link back up with the man that helped create her sound, Rodney Jerkins, for her fifth album, Human. It was one of her most vulnerable and honest albums to date. (Photo: Atlantic Records)

Back in The Game - On season 6 of BET's The Game, Brandy came on as Jason's love interest, Chardonnay. Let's just say that playing a loud-mouthed, round-the-way girl wasn't a typical Brandy role, but she played it all the way up!  (Photo: Paul Abell/PictureGroup)
