Problem - Complex magazine named L.A. rapper Problem one of the emcees from Los Angeles to watch. Although he's a rapper now, he came up as a producer, engineer and writer for legendary acts like Snoop Dogg. Can't wait to see the year he's gonna have! (Photo: Courtesy of Problem via Faceook)

On The Rise - Angel Haze has created a lot of buzz for herself ever since she went off in the BET Hip Hop Awards cypher. Tonight get into her new video, "Werkin Girls" and see what she's all about!(Photo: Rick Diamond/Getty Images for BET)

10. It's Bigger Than Rap, Though - Her rapping skills are still miles ahead, but Angel Haze shows major potential as a singer on both of her mixtapes, Classick and Reservation. And expect to hear a lot more singing and musical excursions that go way beyond rap soon. "I’m shaping myself up for the crossover...I am taking vocal lessons and guitar lessons," she told The New York Times recently. "I want to be an artist you cannot categorize at all. You can’t put a box around me. You can’t put anything around me." (Photo: John Ricard / BET)

Hailing From... - This Michigan based femcee took to Detroit's greatest, Eminem's track for "Cleanin' Out My Closet" to lay her own rhymes about what he made her the woman that she is today. Good looks!(photo: John Ricard / BET).

4. She's Got a Backstory - Angel Haze's Native American background — sorely underrepresented in rap thus far — isn't the only interesting twist in her biography. She was studying neurobiology at Penn State before she went into music. She's bisexual and not afraid to talk about it. She was sexually abused as a child and isn't afraid to talk about that, either (more on that later). Angel definitely has a story to tell. (Photo: Derek Reed / Picture Group)
