A+ - It's fashion week in Paris, and as expected, Solange hit the town and killed the scene. But when you're a fashionista like her, nothing less is acceptable. (Photo: Vittorio Zunino Celotto/Getty Images)

Speak Up - After Twitter activists spoke out against Pharrell's album cover which "dissed" Black women, Pharrell snapped back. He basically set the record straight and let everyone know that there is a Black woman on the cover, but that colorism blinds them from seeing that or even caring. He also asked why the community wasn't looking for more diversity as a whole and for women of all cultures. This now begs the question of whether or not we should seek validation from anyone, especially people we idolize and don't know. Either way, good music is good music and that's what G I R L is full of.(Photo: Michael Buckner/Getty Images for InStyle)

So Serious - Kevin Hart may not like it, but Rick Ross put on quite the show in his velvet suit. All eyes were on the Miami boss as he performed the Mastermind single "No Games." (Photo: Rick Diamond/BET/Getty Images for BET)

Apologies, Apologies - Rick Ross has apologized for his insensitive and senseless Trayvon Martin lyric in the song "Blk & Wht." Hopefully this will be the beginning of the end of senseless references in music that raise eyebrows for all the wrong reasons.(Photo: Rick Diamond/BET/Getty Images for BET)
