Officer Comes Forward - According to reports, a St. Louis-based police officer came forward about incidents of police corruption that he witnessed. The former officer, and current NAACP Ethnic Project head Reddit Hudson, who has spent five years on the force, claims that he has seen many racist and violent incidents. “I grew up in an inner-ring suburb of St. Louis,” Hudson said, according to Raw Story. “It was the kind of place where officers routinely roughed up my friends and family for no good reason. Both were spotted with T-shirts that read "I Can't Breathe" at recent basketball games, and while they got a lot of support, there was also a lot of criticism.
