Kendrick Lamar Gets Reflective - In a recent interview, Kendrick Lamar explained that situations like those with Eric Garner and Mike Brown influence who is as a person, as well as an artist, which is particularly the case with one of his most recent songs, "i.""It's something that's been around since the beginning of time. I remember me coming up in the city of Compton and having these same types of ordeals, not as dramatic but in the same situation, so when I make a record like "i," its not just about me, it's not just about a single, this is not about how many songs can be sold on a media base, it's about what's going on in real life -- actual factual -- so when you strip down the jewelry and you strip down the chains, what are you talking about?" he said in his very thoughtful response. Fox News Shades Jay Z - We don't really expect much from that network but their recent shenanigans include referring to Jay Z as a "former crack dealer." The headline of a news article about Jay Z's recent visit with Andrew Cuomo to discuss police policy read, "Andrew Cuomo Meets With Former Crack Dealer Jay Z to Discuss Police Policy." We all know that Jay Z used to be a drug dealer like...decades ago. And yes, he built his music career by rapping about it, but let's not try and get cute about what he has accomplished since he stopped selling drugs. As if people can't redeem themselves! Meanwhile, white-collar criminals don't get this type of shade from that so-called news organization. Thankfully, people on Twitter went in though. It's all for naught because this is what Faux News does. (Photo: XactpiX/Splash News)

Lil Wayne Is Done With Cash Money - Lil Wayne tweeted on Thursday, "YM! That's it. Nothing Else." So...we're guessing that after his recent meltdown about Baby and Cash Money, he's officially done. Looks like it's now all Young Money everything. (Photo: Gilbert Carrasquillo/Getty Images)
