Melanie Fiona: Road to the BET Awards 2012

In the past year, promotion of her sophomore album, The MF Life, has taken Melanie Fiona from the top of the Billboard charts to the covers of magazines. It's won her Grammy Awards and earned her nominations at the BET Awards 2012.  Right now, BET.com takes a look at some of those career highlights in the run-up to her appearance on the big stage at this year's show.
