After a successful premiere stint at the American Black Film Festival in Miami, Atlanta and NYC, Kevin Hart's new concert film, Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain, is to make its West Coast premiere at BET Experience!
The Real Husbands of Hollywood star's red carpet premiere brought out the A-lister, athletes and reality stars in droves from state to state. This weekend's ABFF premiere in Miami saw the Miami Heat's star players LeBron James and BET Awards '13 Humanitarian Award recipient Dwyane Wade come out to support the comedian — high off their NBA championship win. Also in attendance at the ABFF premiere were Being Mary Jane star Omari Hardrick, Bevy Smith, Terrence J, Spike Lee, Robert Townsend and BET's Husbands super-producer Chris Spencer.
Just the day before, Atlanta showed up and showed out as celebs Ne-Yo, Ludacris, Damien Dante Wayans, Big Tigger, Toya Wright and others came out to support Kevin and to get a first look at the hilarious concert film. Ne-Yo couldn't get enough of Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain as he was also in attendance at last week's NYC premiere along with actor and comedian Jay Pharoah, Sherri Shepard and rapper Fabolous.
Thursday's BET Experience L.A. premiere of the concert film is sure to be the piéce de résistance of the red carpet premieres as the list of celebs in attendance is too hot to handle.
Filmed at his sold-out show in Madison Square Garden, the critically acclaimed concert film/documentary hybrid Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain follows Kevin Hart's 10 country, 80 city comedy tour and documents his growth as a comedian and actor. (He hilariously makes light of his divorce and being single.) The Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain tour was one of the most successful tours of all time, selling out venues all over the world and making a record $1 million in revenue for its one-night STAPLES Center show. Hart's experience will come full circle this Thursday as he makes his way back to L.A. Live for the red carpet premiere.
The film opens nationwide July 3, but users can enter today for a chance to attend the L.A. premiere on Thursday June 27 AND walk the red carpet by tweeting #LetMeExplain #BETX to @BET! BET will select several winners from those who tweet the required hashtags by 5PM PST, providing all winners with a pair of tickets to the show.
