BET Honors: Jennifer Hudson's Award Winning Moments

Though Hudson shifted her focus from movies to music, she continued acting with a small role as Carrie Bradshaw’s assistant in the blockbuster chick flick Sex and the City (pictured above) and a meatier role as Rosaleen in the film The Secret Life of Bees co-starring Queen Latifah, Dakota Fanning and Alicia Keys.  She recently starred opposite Terrence Howard as Winnie Mandela in a biopic of the wife, mother, activist and freedom fighter’s life titled, Winnie and is set to star in the Farrelly brothers’ comedy The Three Stooges.
